Back in the studio!

December 5,  2014

The talented folk artist Joe Beeler kindly asked me to contribute to his new album: First Fruit Project. Writing violin and viola parts for his first album, Junction City, was a blast, and I am honored to be part of this new project! About First Fruits, Joe says:

"First Fruits Project presents the good news of Jesus through original songs, preaching and the written word. Its purpose is to bring people to a clear understanding of God's plan for Humanity. It's also a tool for funding local and worldwide ministries all proceeds from sales are divided equally between these three ministries: Knox Area Rescue Ministries (karm.org), Samaritan's Purse (samaritanspurse.org), and the Bible League (bibleleague.org)." The project is sponsored by House Mountain Baptist Church (HMBCHURCH.org).

As some of you might know, I sing and play violin in Märchenbilder (Images of Fairy Tales). We blend our extensive classical experience with energetic drums and guitars to create  our own flavor of symphonic metal. Take a look at our material at www.marchenbilder.com! I am proud to announce that we will co-headline the Petit Campus with Karkaos, preceded by Instanzia and At Dawn's Edge. Come see us is you are in the city of the hundred bell towers!

Metal Divas Fest I at the Bovine Sex Club in Toronto!

November 29th, 2014

Following our show at the Petit Campus, we jump on the van and drive to Toronto for an exciting concert where Märchenbilder will co-headline with Protokult, supported by At Dawn's Edge and Psycho Mad Sally. Women are quickly invading the metal genre, and we could not be happier about it!

La Femme Bohême

January 30th,  2015

I had the pleasure to sing Benoît and Alcindoro in an all female version of Puccini's La Bohême last month. This fantastic opera was produced by Marble City Opera, in Knoxville. Not only did I have a blast singing these two funny characters surrounded by talented singers and instrumentalists, I also had the amazing opportunity to work with the incredible Maestro Peter Leonard, who just moved back to the US after conducting for almost 20

years in German theaters. What a delight to work with such an artist!
